The East Wind DVD is not yet received which was shiped on 28th June 2008. It's almost a month. Generally I used to delivered all my previouse order within 10 to 12 days after it was shiped. What a rip-off. $37 for 44 minutes? One of his other videos is $36 for 36 minutes. A dollar a minute? It is just kiting a glider....not brain surgery. Spend the money taking your wife out to dinner, so she won't gripe at you for spending the day kiting your glider....

For anyone who wants to master ground handling, this is a great visual aid. Dixon White does a great job giving clear instruction with reverse launches, forward launches, high wind control, laying out the wing, and more. I've watched the DVD at least 6 times, took my wing out, and quickly put into practice the instruction. Being able to control your paraglider with all of the skills you gain from this DVD is a real confidence booster. Try it . . . you'll like it!!

Great training video. Needs hi wind launch/breaking detail but all else is really good.

Never made it in the air. There is no protection to keep the string/line leading to the 'chute from getting caught in the prop. Unless it is perfectly launched (mine wasn't) the line will get chewed up by the prop rendering the RC aircraft worthless (as mine was). Construction was also flimsy and very poor. This is priced way too high for what you get--in my opinion, it is throwing money away. Don't waste yours.

Great product. Easy to fly for first timers (like me). Simple to put together. Battery life is truly about 10 minutes. Glider looks and performs exactly as advertised. Although mostly plastic does not appear to be "cheap" quality and has survived several crashes with no appparent damage.

An airplane was shipped to me by accident instead of the paraglider, but the company was wonderful and quickly shipped me out the paraglider in time for Christmas. They have top notch customer service if there is ever a problem.

I would have loved to give a review on this product, however this company sent me the WRONG item. Instead of an paraglider, they sent me a air plane. I recieved the plane one week before Christmas, and hid it away until Christmas Eve. On that night "Santa" came, he opened the box to find an airplane, instead of the ordered paraglider. Needless to say this was the childs big present, so Santa had to leave it for the boy. The boy was a bit sad to not find, the ONLY present he asked for, not there on Christmas morning. GURRRRR

This book is THE resource for anyone wishing to tow ultralight aircraft. A vast amount of very practical knowledge distilled by two very accomplished people.

This book has it all if you want to lear how to tow any aircraft that is towable! Want to know if your aircraft is towabe? read the book! Want to understand how winching works? Read the book! Want to make a winch yourself? Read the book! Want to lean how to... or improve your towing-skills. Read the book! Want to improve your flight under tow? Definitly read the book! I have been a paraglider under tow for over 2 years before reading this book, and i can tell you now that i have completely changed the way i fly under tow! Moreover i have a better insight in what happens when towing and i can share this knowledge with our new-born-tow-pilots and explain them a lot better what they are doing and better what to do when things are not going right! The only remark i have is that because the book covers all gliders, (paragliders, deltagliders, sailplanes...) you sometimes need to skip a lot of the pages as they may not particullary be of interest to you. My advice: If you fly under tow: read this book!
